The Australian share market ended October mostly unchanged, with the S&P/ASX 200 Index up 0.4% at 8,881.9 points. The Australian dollar fell 1.1%, now at 65.5 US cents per AUD. The Reserve Bank of Australia kept the Cash Rate at 3.60%, while ongoing inflation has decreased the likelihood of further cuts.

The Australian share market experienced a decline in September, with the S&P/ASX 200 Index decreasing by 1.4% to close at 8,848.8 points.  The Australian dollar strengthened over the month, appreciating by 1.1%, and is now trading at 66.1 United States cents per Australian Dollar.

It was another positive month for the Australian share market, with the S&P/ASX 200 Index gaining by 2.6% to close the month at 8,973.1 points.  The Australian dollar gained by 1.6% over August, with 1 Australian Dollar currently buying 65.5 United States cents.
